I graduated from Appalachian State University in 2009. I double majored in Psychology and Sociology (focusing in data and statistics), with a minor in Spanish. While in college I studied abroad in Spain, was the president of the Club Volleyball team and played on the National team. I was also involved in Colleges Against Cancer, a subset of Relay for Life.

I am currently in my 6th year of teaching. I began teaching at Northwest Guilford High School in 2010, teaching math and being the assistant varsity volleyball coach there for three years. I moved to Southwestern Randolph in 2013 to teach math and coach volleyball.

I grew up in Randleman, NC and graduated from Randleman High School in 2005. I attended ASU and met my husband there. I got married right out of college in 2009 and moved back to the area. We now have four children: Trivett (7), Adelynn (6) and Kessley (2) and our newest edition, Ellison, was born in March of this year. We enjoy going to App football games in the fall, spending weekends at the lake, and running.
