This morning our 5th grade students had a visit from Fox 8 Meteorologist Alex Schneider. Students enjoyed learning about the systems that are used to predict weather and were even able to make a prediction about the upcoming winter weather. The consensus of our 5th grade students is that winter weather will begin tomorrow between 1:00-4:00pm and will have 1-3 inches of snow! We are excited to see if they are correct! ❄️. Thank you Alex for coming to visit!

RCSS School Nutrition Services prepares approximately 6,500 breakfast and 10,000 lunch meals for students each school day. The purpose of this survey is to gather feedback about our breakfast and lunch menus from parents, teachers, and staff. We will use this feedback to update our menus in order to enhance the school meal experience for our students. Franklinville and the surrounding community showed up when our neighbors in Western North Carolina were affected by Hurricane Helene. So many items were donated that it took multiple trips to deliver. Today we received a thank you card from Givens Gerber Park, one of the locations that needed the donations for their residents. Our students, families, and community went above and beyond to share their love with those in need.
