Growing Futures, Celebrating Voices: RCSS Latin Summits 26–27
Across this school year, the Randolph County School System has proudly hosted Latin Summits at several of our high schools, most recently at Southwestern Randolph High School, creating powerful spaces for connection, inspiration, and opportunity.
These summits were designed to ignite student engagement and elevate achievement, and they did just that. Students heard from dynamic, inspirational speakers—many of whom once walked the same halls in RCSS—who shared their personal journeys, challenges, and successes. Their messages reminded students: your future is bright.
Following the speakers, students explored the media center where they connected with representatives from colleges, organizations, and local industries—opening doors to real-world career pathways and future possibilities.
We are deeply grateful to every speaker who generously shared their story throughout the 2026–2027 school year, and to the many partners who provided meaningful opportunities for students to explore careers and build connections.
A special thank you to RCSS Parent Liaison Roxanne Taylor for her leadership and dedication in working alongside our schools to make these impactful events possible.
Together, we are building bridges, empowering voices, and growing the future—one student at a time.
