These three strategic events connect your organization with students at pivotal points in their career development—from discovering career possibilities to exploring industry pathways and preparing to enter the workforce.

From Learning to Earning: 11th Grade Career Expo
Connect students with careers. Build your future workforce.
Introduce your industry to the next generation of talent! The 11th Grade Career Expo gives employers an opportunity to showcase their organizations, highlight career opportunities, and help students understand the skills, training, and credentials needed to succeed in today's workforce.
Help students see how what they're learning today can translate into meaningful careers tomorrow.
Date: November 20, 2026
Location: NC Agricultural Center of Randolph County, Asheboro
Time: Approximately 8:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m.
Setup: All booths will be indoors.
All RCSS 11th graders are invited to participate. Students in attendance will rotate through the event by school.
The Career Pit Stop: 6th Grade CTE Expo & Truck Fair
Fuel curiosity. Introduce careers. Inspire what's next.
Bring your industry to life! The Career Pit Stop gives students an exciting, hands-on introduction to careers across our region. Employers are encouraged to bring vehicles, equipment, interactive demonstrations, and engaging displays that help students explore what different industries have to offer.
This is your chance to spark interest in career pathways before students enter high school and begin making important decisions about their futures.
Date: April 23, 2027
Location: NC Agricultural Center of Randolph County, Asheboro
Time: Approximately 8:15 a.m.–2:30 p.m.
Setup: Indoor and outdoor booth and display options are available.
Sixth graders from across the district will participate in this districtwide career exploration experience.
Pathways to Purpose: Senior Edition Job Fair
Meet your next employee before graduation.
Looking to grow your workforce? Connect directly with RCSS seniors who are exploring immediate employment opportunities after graduation. This event is designed to help employers introduce available positions, discuss hiring requirements, collect résumés, conduct on-the-spot interviews when appropriate, and build connections with motivated students preparing to enter the workforce.

Location: NC Agricultural Center of Randolph County, Asheboro
Time: Approximately 8:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
Setup: Indoor and outdoor booth and display options are available.

We recognize that every organization has different scheduling and staffing needs. Full-day participation and split-shift options are available for all three events, allowing you to participate in a way that works best for your team.
